Providence ALS researcher, Dan Bacher, discusses his foundation’s developments in assistive tech for paralyzed individuals. Dan has developed eye tracking to give patients back some of the control they’ve lost in their lives. The systems work on Glass, tablets and PCs. Imagine the simple things we can give them. The ability to change TV channels, drive a wheelchair, control a PC!
We’ll be among the first to see Chelsea resident, Steve Sailing, dump a bucket on Dan using only his eyes.
The HOA will be at BostonMedical.TV at 9 pm, Tuesday September 9.
